INSTRUCTIONS:
1 | Basecoat in black. SW Tricorn Black is a good option.
2 | Brush on the grays and black regular paint using a flexible spatula or squeegee in a vertical fashion, blending together with flexible plastic Japan trowel. Let dry.

3 | Using the same method as step 2, blend together Golden Paintworks metallic paints. Can blend horizontally as well as vertically. Let dry.

4 | Mix Glazing Gel with aluminum powder and trowel one coat vertically and horizontally over entire surface, being mindful to move quickly and don’t over work areas. Once it begins to set up, it can scrape off.

Not sure how to make a living as a fine artist, Deanne Lenehan decided she would become an art teacher like her grandmother who had nurtured her talent from an early age. During her first year of teaching a friend requested a mural for her daughter’s room. She loved being able to paint and be her own boss so she was sold immediately. Lenehan Studios specializes in unique and innovative painted solutions for interiors which include faux finishes, murals, custom fine art, and more. She loves to collaborate with interior designers and clients alike to create unique and beautiful spaces that will be enjoyed for years.
